No, this is not about Snow White. I read a short story about judgments somewhere online, and felt like it echoed with what I wrote about how prejudice creates the furthest distance between us.
Here's a short recap of that story:
(written by unknown)
One day, a little girl was holding two apples in her hand.
Her mum came, and softly asked," Baby, can you share your apples with mummy?"
The girl looked at her mum, back at her apples, then quickly took a quick bite on one apple and then another bite on the other apple. Mum was disappointed, her smile was gone.
Then, the little girl handed one of her bitten apples to her mum. She smiled and said, "Take this one, mummy! This one is sweeter!".
The mum immediately hugged the little girl and gave her a kiss on her apple cheeks. She felt bad that she was judging her daughter before trying to diving deeper.
